Facility Reviews
There was adult lap swimming but only two lanes had lane lines. There were four or five people in my lane.
Swimming is OK when not crowded. There's a lane for 'fast breast stroke' and one for 'crawl'. The rest of the pool is used by slower lane swimmers.
Extremely crowded during afternoon lap hours, many people squeezed into the two lap lanes. Extremely turbulent in lap lanes (almost like swimming in open water!). Within walking distance of convention center. Great find for a tourist!
Only two lanes were available for lap swimming, so it got quite crowded. There was no lane etiquette or any guidance on speed/time for each lane. There were no pace clocks and the lane dividers were too loose so it kept catching toes or little fingers. I would not recommend this pool for serious swim training.

Like most pools in the Netherlands, recreational swimming is prioritised over lane swimming. The indoor lap pool is too crowded. The outdoor pool, however, is great for 50m lengths during the summer, and when the weather is not so warm (which is often!) the outdoor pool is not crowded at all.

The water in the 25m indoor pool has become so filthy recently that you can't see underwater from one end to the other. Add to that floating large bandages and balls of fluff. Not appealing. The price has gone up and water quality has gone down.

Unfortunately, the indoor pool here is not the best for swimming laps. Even in the mid-morning, it was crowded (8+ people per lane); the water wasn’t the cleanest; there was a lot of debris at the bottom of the pool; and there wasn’t any lane separation by swim speed/ability (tho' the faster swimmers tended to stay in the far-right lane). The water temperature was great, however, and the staff were friendly. .
The outdoor pool looked good, but it was only open for lap swimming in the early morning, so I didn’t have a chance to try it. The outdoor pool might be worth checking out, but I can’t recommend the indoor pool for laps unless you have nowhere else to swim.
The locker rooms were a bit confusing to use, with one large unisex room that had individual changing cubicles with doors that didn’t seem to close. The only showers were the ones by the pool deck

I went right when they opened at 7 AM and it was a very chaotic and unenjoyable experience. Picture the bike lanes of Amsterdam during rush hour but in the context of a pool. Every lane had people doing different strokes and speeds, and there were people with fins and paddles passing in the middle of a lap in a narrow lane, which seemed quite dangerous. There were 9 people in my lane when I gave up and went for a bike ride. Also note that buying a pass online requires a local bank account. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this pool, especially if you are used to swimming in an environment with basic swim etiquette in its pools.
