Facility Notes
There is also a 50m, 8 lane, 26°C (78°F), outdoor, summer pool pool at this location.
This is the only FINA-certified, public, 50m, indoor pool in Austria.
During summer, the pool is closed for two weeks (usually in August) for maintenance, but the outdoor pool is open at that time.
If you arrive before the special evening tariff goes into effect, you'll be charged the full-day rate at entry. Then, if you leave within two hours, you show your ticked and they will refund the difference between the full-day price and the two hour price.
The facility uses a wrist-band, electronic key system. There is an additional €0.10 charge for the band, which is refunded when you turn it back in.
Based on the pool's schedule, shown on the PDF attachment available on the Bahn- und Beckenreservierungen page of the pool's website, Lanes 0 through 3 are set aside for diving and recreational swimming; Lanes 4 through 9 are for laps and swim teams. It is worth mentioning that most of the time, Lanes 4 through 9 are reserved for teams, so visitors will want to check that schedule carefully.
Facility Reviews
One of the best pools in Europe! Usually not very crowded. Nice facilities - the building was finished April 2011, so you can expect state of the art. Fees are high, but you'll get what you pay for!
