Facility Notes
The pool is striped with 25 meter lanes in both directions, which is not common in Europe. It appears that there must be a boom or bulkhead to shorten the 30 meter lanes, but no boom is visible in the photographs. On the side of the pool that would be the other side of that divider, there are two striped lanes, both about 20 meters long, as there are staircases leading into the pool at both end of the lanes. Check the photographs associated with the Targeted Google Map link, above, as a picture is, indeed, worth a thousand words.
Facility Reviews
The most modern short-course pool in Germany.
This is a fantastic facility - light, big, open. The lanes are extra wide - eight lanes were set up plus a large open swim area, where people were also doing laps. I went at what I would expect to be one of the busiest times - Saturday early afternoon - and there were only one or two people per lane at any time.
It's super easy to navigate - pay downstairs and get a card for the locker from the cashier (no coins needed) - the changing rooms and the pool are on the 2nd floor of the facility. The changing rooms are not separated by gender, but by individual (Einzel) and group (Sammel). Some people also take stuff with them poolside. Caps are not required.
It's a great pool - I'm looking forward to going again today!
