Facility Reviews
They usually have five lanes set up for laps. At least two 50m lanes then three split with a bulkhead to make six 25m lanes. The water is nice.
There is usually a lane set up for finswimming (Nage avec Palmes) and sometimes lanes are reserved for swim clubs. One lane is reserved for water walkers and water runners. Fast swimmers can usually swim with in the finswimmers' lane without complaints. The pool is less crowded in the early afternoon or after 6:30 in the evening. There are usually many swim clubs in the mid-afternoon (4 - 6:30 PM) that take up most of the lanes, leaving just one or two 25m lanes for public lap swimmers.

Bring a two Euro coin to operate the lockers. The coin is returned to you when you insert the key back in the lock.

The pool has started to crack down on the fast swimmers swimming with the fin swimmers. Even when the lane is empty, they drive you out. Reasoning with them does no good. They are just doing what they are told. They have reduced the three-lane-wide area to two for the random swimmers, so there is always one 50m lane for 'Swimmers'. However, there is no definition for the 'swimmer' and anybody who can swim a lap, no matter how slow, is entitled to swim in it. The only requirement is that you swim circles.
Saturdays after 16:30 is usually a good time to swim when you can sometimes get a 50m lane to yourself until 18:30. At 18:30 a scuba club comes and takes away two lanes. After 19:00 and until closing at 19:30 the place is pretty empty.
