Facility Reviews
This is a beautiful, clean facility with long open hours*, built 10 years ago. The pool does not have backstroke flags. There is easy free parking on rue du 8 Mai, 1945, and public transport exists. Swim caps are required since early 2017. Prices are a bargain, indeed. There are free lockers with a simple, effective security system. Non-speakers of French may have a steeper learning curve with the lockers, but will succeed most likely. The showers have no soap, BYO. As at many European pools, you are expected to remove your shoes immediately upon entering the changing area, where there is a bench for that purpose.
*To understand the open hours of many French pools, you need to know which zone scolaire (school zone) the pool is in, A, B, or C. You can find the dates for the current year online. You need this information because this pool, like many, has one schedule for période scolaire, one for petit vacance scolaire, and yet another for grande vacances scolaire. It is rather French of them to organize the schedule in this way but, then, they are French.
This pool is in zone scolaire B.
