Facility Reviews
I didn't swim in the 25m pool, but the 50m was (for international standards) filthy. The water was cloudy, and there was visible dirt on the bottom of the entire pool. Although the change rooms are very well lit, they are wet and smelly. (Don't forget your sandals and a lock for the lockers provided.) On the plus side, there are backstroke flags and very good lane lines.
I found the cleaniness of the 50m pool and change rooms OK. However, the water was far too warm for sustained exercise. This was in late April. Limted lanes (two) due to children taking lessons.

The 50m pool's water was as clean as it was supposed to be. There were four people using it - pretty pleasant!
The location of the swimming pool is not obvious; I had to ask my way.

Bring a lock and flipflops. Enter through the ground level door on the side of building closest to the train station. In little office on immediate left, pay 100 baht and get tickets which you'll give to the attendant on the pool deck. Change in stinky shower room. The pool entrance is at the end of a long hall.

I went on a Sunday in mid-June, and shared the lovely, 50m pool with just one other person. Unfortunately, although I was told I had until 2 PM, they actually meant 12 PM, as it's closed on weekends from noon to 3 PM.

It's a nice pool, however, there are too many children who use the pool for swimming lessons. I caught viral conjunctivitis the last time I went that took a long time to clear up.

I was there on a Sunday at 3 PM and saw only about five other people during one hour's swimming. The water visibility was fair, about a half a length of the pool. They have an Info board about the water condition, which showed the date, "pH 7.5", and "chlorine 1.5 ppm" - ideal readings. A test revealed that chlorine was actually only 0.1 ppm and the pH was way below 6.5 using a "ColorQ Pro7", which can register only down to 6.5).

Use Google Map's satellite view to find this pool. It's right behind Nimibutr Stadium if you're facing the elevated train station. We came to dive but they wouldn't let us. The diving area had ropes. The staff showed us a paper that said no diving.

The 50m pool was filthy with algae on the walls and debris on the floor. The water had a terrible taste and I felt slimy when I got out. Maybe this is not normal for this facility, but it was gross today.

I swam here in August 2022. The pool was built in 1961 and it is fair to say the facility is aging but it is a 50m pool divided into eight lanes. The water was warm - I’d be guessing but I reckon it was 28º - 29ºC (82º - 84ºF). The lockers are old (they lent me a padlock) as are the change room facilities – it is not sterile by any measure but it is fit for its purpose. I took a towel from my hotel room - there was no sign you could get one at the facility. It's a short walk from the National Stadium BTS station,

All the previous reviews are still relevant. The price is still 100 baht, The equipment is still old and rusty. Otherwise, it's a very good pool for swimming laps with no people around - I was the only one for a few times on a weekday at 4 PM, apart from children's groups, who occupied side lanes. The staff is not too friendly but everyone speaks at least a little bit of English.
