Swimmers Guide is not connected with any of the more than 20,000+ facilities listed on this site in any way. We cannot tell you the pools’ opening and closing times; we cannot tell you about the availability and cost of swimming lessons; we cannot help you find your children’s lost goggles or bathing suits.

We can and do try to give you reliable information about the pools, their locations, their access policies, and their single-visit or casual swimming prices. Where possible, we include email addresses and hypertext links to the pools’ own official websites, and links to the websites of the clubs and teams that swim there. Look to those resources within each listing for more detailed information.

The data in each listing is under continual review and is revised whenever the site’s editors become aware of a change but, with more than 20,000 listings, a complete, periodic review of every listing takes about three years to complete; in many places, prices will change two or three times before we have a chance to check the pool’s official website again.

For that reason, we ask for your help: If any of the information in the listing is incorrect, out of date, or could be improved, please tell us. There is an "Edit" button on just about every line of every listing, click on the edit button to tell us what needs to be changed. Please consider checking the listings of the pools you regularly use at home or when traveling, as your knowledge may be helpful to someone else who is unfamiliar with your area and visiting for the first time.

To our English users: For reasons described in the FAQ, county names shown the listings in England are the cities' and towns' historic counties, not necessarily the counties they are assigned to now.

Facility Reviews

The aquatics center was so-so. The water was clear and just a bit warm (probably for water aerobics). There were no lockers, so all clothes had to be brought into pool area and nothing was able to be secured (wallet, cell phone, money). The changing rooms were surprisingly small.
The facilities aren't fancy but the water quality is excellent - very clear and 81º - 83ºF. (27º - 28ºC.). There are lots of lanes and it's uncrowded in the early morning. There are two changing/shower rooms: a very small one that's used when only the 50 meter lap pool is open (early morning) and a much larger one that's used when all three pools are open. The lack of lockers is inconvenient.
[September, 2017]
It’s true the facilities aren’t fancy, but they are way more than adequate. We swam at early lunch time and each had a lane to ourselves. Yes, the lack of lockers is inconvenient, but forewarned by the review here, we planned what to take and where to keep it.

Important note for those from sea level: West Mesa is at about 5,300 feet (1,600 meters) altitude; plan to be short of breath and adjust your workout accordingly.
