Facility Notes
The main pool can be divided into two 8-lane tanks; one 25m, the other 24m long.
There are also two, 25m x 13m, unstriped, 22ºC (72ºF), outdoor pools, one 0.7m deep, the other 0.9m deep. Further information about them can be found at Bellahøj Friluftsbad.
Facility Reviews
The staff are remarkably friendly and helpful. The least crowded times are weekdays, late morning to 4 PM. The clubs arrive at 4 PM, reducing the number of lanes available. The walls of the main hall are covered with noise-dampening metal plates, which improve the acoustics.
Danish pools generally maintain very high hygiene standards. Bellahøj is a sad exception. Many users ignore shower rules, and the staff turn a blind eye. As a result, this is probably the dirtiest pool in the country.
Indeed, the hygiene standards at this pool are very low.

I can´t relate to the unhygienic reviews regarding this pool. The staff is very keen on "helping" swimmers to remember to shower (at least in the men's department). The pool looks very clean also ...

This is a great pool, filled with light. Signs show It to be the training facility for the national team, who have their own lockers reserved. There is a 70ºC (158ºF) sauna.
I found the pool very clean and there are signs in the shower area to wash yourself beforehand, as usual in Denmark.
All entry payments are cashless: Visa/Dankort and mobile pay are accepted at the pool. It may be easier to buy ticket online ahead of time to avoid problems with the automated vending machines on-site.
